Check the response route before counting days
First identify whether the document concerns draft-report factual accuracy, Warning Notice representations, a rating process review, a Notice of Proposal or an ordinary Notice of Decision appeal. These are separate processes. Read the actual document and the official instructions before using any calculation.
Record the precise trigger required by that route, such as the draft-report email, service of a notice or publication of an assessment. A date calculator cannot establish when service legally occurred, which process applies or whether an extension has been granted.
For working-day routes, the tool excludes weekends and the England and Wales bank holidays in its supplied 2026–2028 calendar. Calendar-day calculations do not automatically move a result that falls on a weekend or bank holiday. Check the current holiday list and any applicable filing time or submission rule.
Without the interactive tool, use the linked official guidance to identify the route and counting rule, record the trigger and check the count against a calendar. Urgent orders, different appeal routes and uncertain service dates require individual advice. The actual notice and applicable rules remain essential.
