CQC's four initial sector drafts propose supporting KLOEs, rating characteristics and judgements at key-question level without scoring. Piloting was scheduled for June–October 2026, with evaluation planned for November. The sources reviewed do not establish a universal commencement date.
What it means for providers ↗CQC's current forms guidance requires new-provider applications, related manager applications and supporting documents to be submitted together by email. The provider portal is not the new-registration route. Incomplete or incorrect applications can be rejected; resubmissions do not retain their queue position.
